Loved this conversation Farrah ♡ it reminded me of our chat all those years ago for Ctrl Alt Delete. It's incredibly helpful to have other women share their stories who are a few years ahead along the road. Mia is so good at interviewing! Thank you to you both xoxo

Just listened to it, thank you so much for contributing to this space - we need more of this. And congratulations for breaking through to the other side, so to speak. I’m three years on from closing the door (even though we’re the same age 🤦🏻‍♀️) and I’m only now feeling able to think about the future, who I want to be and what, if anything, I want to leave behind. My body was completely destroyed by ivf so I’m thankful to finally feel a bit more myself too! I digress. But thank you for adding to the blueprints of what a life without children could be like ❤️

Thank you Farrah - looking forward to listening to this, as someone who is currently struggling a bit with embarking onto the childfree journey, as all my friends are currently pregnant and I’m feeling a bit left behind/isolated! Need more fantastic role models like you in my life!

39, still childfree love life. Love kids - I work with them but for many reasons I knew I wanted to be a fun aunt. Selfishly, I wanted to heal from my own traumatic childhood with a father with schizophrenia and BPD and alcohol addiction. I never wanted to pass on trauma to them. Some days I'd love a daughter but then I'm blessed with my friends kids and I only want a daughter to vicariously live through and dress which is absolutely NOT a reason to have kids so here I am, comfortable in my decision and I love it when you write about it too. Loved this conversation, thank you for sharing. As someone who researches and writes about women's narratives, it's an important topic.
