Why I'm creating a new space to talk...

Otherwise known as my 'chat channel' where you can get recommendations on pretty much anything AND throw in all your unsolicited thoughts on culture, KK's waist and beyond.

Some things we might need to discuss...

Last week I needed to get some good recces for New York. I also wanted to get someone else’s take on the Met Gala. And Kim Kardashian’s waist (eek!) And what sort of books I should be taking on holiday in a few weeks time. And whether anyone has ever used ‘chafe cream’ (a whole new world of summer beauty ‘prep’, let me tell you). And…well, you get the idea. 

And then it occurred to me that maybe you also want a place where you can lean on a group you trust. Maybe you want advice on places to go. Perhaps you have found the perfect white t-shirt and want to share it with us all. Or spotted a paint shade that you need help identifying. Maybe you need to know if wearing your socks pulled high is now over. (I read it is, but I need a younger person to weigh in here). Or if Baby Reindeer feels like it might turn out to be a work of semi-fiction after all.

So this is why today I’m officially launching my CHAT channel. This is basically going to be one huge Whatsapp group. And here’s how it’s going to work. 

STEP 1: Firstly download the app. I’m increasingly finding myself reading on the app anyway, as it’s such a better place to discover new writers. But also it’s the best place to chat. You can do that by clicking below. 

STEP 2: Next I’ll start a chat TODAY and I’d love you to come and chat with me. (This is going to be a bit like throwing a party so please turn up). You can always join via your computer but the app means we can chat on the go on your phone so you don’t miss any vital conversations.

BUT ALSO…

There are some extra cool benefits for paid subscribers.

ALL paid subscribers can also INITIATE chats too. That’s right, you can ask questions for the group and we’ll reply. (In contrast free subscribers can just join public chats.)

I’ll also be hosting private chats for paid subscribers too, which will be a bit more personal in tone. I’ll share private pictures (that’s sounds gross, you know what I mean); some of my on-the go recommendations. (I’m in NYC now so anything I see on my travels I’ll pop in there). I’ll let you know about things I’ve seen/tried/tested that you need to know about before anyone else- restaurants, new ranges I’ve got special previews to etc…
