Survival of the prettiest
A brief history of me and my face- and everything I've done to try and fix it
The other week I was at my ‘face woman’ lying back as she injected Botox into either side of my chin. I love my ‘face woman’. She once said to me: ’We’re not in the business of perfection here’ and I knew straight way this was the person for me.
She always starts our sessions by giving me a hand held mirror and asking me what I see. I see lines and creases and nowadays a few folds here and there, but today I see jowls, hence the Botox.
I am very grateful for my ‘face woman’, mainly because she always talks me out of having anything drastic done. I’m the horse, she’s the reins. I need someone like this, because the truth is, if I had my way, I’d have had a face transplant years ago.
