This is THE place to find answers, meet others and get exposure for your own Substack...

If you’ve found yourself here, chances are you have a Substack. Congratulations! Starting a Substack was probably one of the best creative decisions I have made in the last few years. That said, I understand how hard it can be, especially in the beginning. Even if your Substack is one of the greatest things around and you’re churning out the best work of your life, it doesn’t really matter if no one is reading/seeing it. Right?

So I want to use this space as a place where you can all talk to one another about your Substacks. Start by telling everyone who you are and what you’re writing about. Find a buddy who might be looking for a collaborator and grow together! Use this space to get ideas from one another (what worked/what didn’t) and everything in between.

One of the few downsides of being creative is that it can be a lonely endeavour. We can get things out of all proportion - ‘I have no followers other than my family! This is a disaster!’ (For the record that was me when I first started this Substack). We can also think we are facing problems that no one else can will ever understand…until we talk to others attempting to do the exact same thing.

I will pop in here from time to time and try and answer as many questions as I can, but this is mainly YOUR space to get YOUR Substack noticed and to ask your fellow Substackers in this community for help, guidance and soemtimes just some friendly reassurance. (Remember we have the monthly writing group where all PAID subscribers can ask me live questions if you want a more in-depth answer.)
