Can you believe this newsletter is 6 months old? I can’t. It started life as a vague idea: dump some thoughts together; hope people will read them. That was it. Literally. But since January I’ve somehow kept writing, and you’ve kept coming. This has cheered my heart more than you will ever know.
If you’re an old timer here, you’ll be aware that things have changed along the way too. We have created a Writer’s Group for a start. There are now regular classes for those of you who want to learn how to write and pitch ideas. We have regular community get-togethers and there was that brief, mad moment where I gave away the contents of my editor’s wardrobe. (Don’t worry, we’ll have another one of those this summer).
So basically…THANK YOU. For reading. For sticking with it. For being part of this community.
As I’ve always said, this newsletter will remain free. I think a writer’s best work should always reach as many people as it is able to. And money should not be a barrier to entry.
